Asssistant manager Mark Grew has told the Sentinel that the club “do not deal in tittle tattle” but the newspaper has indicated that the club are “doing well” in their efforts to strengthen their squad for the new campaign.

We have got people in mind and spoken to agents and done all the groundwork…

The Sentinel has indicated that the club expects to hear back from up to three targets, which include a striker and a central defender soon.

Grew added: “We are doing well. We have got people in mind and spoken to agents and done all the groundwork.

“There are certainly some exciting players who are available, but we do not deal in tittle tattle. We try not to give anything away until names are on the dotted line.”

So far, the club has added winger Kaid Mohamed to their squad while Ashley Vincent, John McCombe and Sam Morsy have opted to turn down contracts and leave the club.
