Ambitious Adams targets four new additions
Manager Micky Adams has told the Sentinel that his summer recruitment drive may not end with the additions of Chris Robertson, Gavin Tomlin and Kaid Mohammed.
I could be looking for three or four new bodies before the start of the season…
Adams told the newspaper that he could add “three or four new bodies” to his squad and has not ruled out a move for former midfielder Anthony Griffith who enjoyed a successful loan spell at the club last season.
Adams commented: “I’m delighted with the three players we’ve signed so far this summer.
“But there are still certain areas of the team we need to strengthen and midfield is certainly one of them.
“Taking into account Sam Morsy wants to go and Doug Loft hasn’t signed his new deal yet, I’ve got 19 players in the squad and I don’t think that’s enough to go into League One.
“You might say there are 10 new development squad lads, but we don’t know about them yet, so there I could be looking for three or four new bodies before the start of the season.”
