Sentinel: Fuller linked with Vale move
The Sentinel claims that former Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller has “appeared on Vale’s radar” after his release by Championship side Charlton Athletic.
Fuller, 33, is a free agent and could add a touch of flair to the Vale forward line, although his wage demands could be an issue.
However, former Vale manager John Rudge, who was also the Director of Football at Stoke City, says the striker would be an asset to the club.
“If he produced the kind of form he once showed at Stoke, then Ricardo would be an asset for the right club, Rudge told the newspaper.
“And I’m sure the Vale fans wouldn’t have a problem with a player who can light up a ground like he can on his day.”
