Valiants looking to add left-back on loan
The Sentinel reports that Port Vale are one of a number of clubs interested in taking Watford defender Carl Dickinson on loan.
The former Stoke City defender is out of favour at Vicarage Road and spent a loan spell at League One side Portsmouth recently.
According to “sources close to the player” the 25 year-old has a number of options as several clubs have expressed an interest.
Dickinson lives locally in Tean and the six footer made 51 appearances for local rivals Stoke City.
Vale are in the market for a regular left-back with Adam Yates, Doug Loft and Rob Taylor all tried in that position this season.
