Vale winger may be loaned out
Port Vale manager Micky Adams has told the official Port Vale website that he is pondering letting young winger Ryan Lloyd go on a month’s loan.
Adams told the official website: “There have been no enquiries about any of my players, so regardless of what you read in newspapers or hear on the radio, there have been no enquiries about any of my players other than Ryan Lloyd.
“There has been an enquiry about him going out for a month and that is something I will consider this afternoon, but if I do let him go it will be for just a month to let him get a few games.
“We have made a couple of enquiries about a couple of younger players and I have left that with the Chairman. He hasn’t spoke to me to say that he has concluded any sort of deal, so I presume that those deals are dead.”
Lloyd has progressed through the Vale’s junior ranks and once earned a trial with Premier League side Fulham. He appears to be highly thought-of at Vale with the youngster under contract until the summer of 2014.
