Vale have had ‘no offers’ for players
Port Vale assistant manager Mark Grew has told the Sentinel that the club have had “no offers” for their players and “that’s the way we want to keep it.”
If we lost anybody, it would be a setback, but particularly Popey because of all his goals…
Talking to the newspaper, Grew said: “We’ve had no offers from anyone and that’s the way we want to keep it.
“We don’t want anyone to table something we have to start thinking about.
“If we lost anybody, it would be a setback, but particularly Popey because of all his goals.
“I think he’s happy here – he’s always got a smile on his face anyway – but he’s scored 26 goals and I would understand if he attracts attention.
“People might well come in for him, but there’s nothing at this moment.”
