Adams: Players ‘won’t want to blow it’
Micky Adams has called on his players to remain motivated after the bad weather caused the cancellation of Vale’s game at home to Bradford City.
Our fitness in the first half of the season has been superb and I think it will be vital in the second half, too…
Talking to the Sentinel, Adams said: “It’s certainly no time to relax.
“Our fitness in the first half of the season has been superb and I think it will be vital in the second half, too.
“If that means we have to put a shift in around a track or around a park somewhere then that’s what we’ll do.
” motivate themselves, more than anything but they’ll understand we’re in a good position and they won’t want to blow it.
“We have a fantastic team spirit here and, though there are some tough games ahead, the majority of the squad have experienced this scenario before and they know what’s required.”
