Port Vale assistant manager Mark Grew has told the Sentinel that Vale are entering a “vital” Christmas period of the season.
We all know the Christmas period is going to be vital for us…
Grew told the newspaper: “We all know the Christmas period is going to be vital for us.
“The four or five games we play between now and the middle of January will give us a good idea of whether it will be top three or top seven for us this season.
“It was disappointing Saturday’s game was called off, but I fully understand the decision given the freak weather conditions.
“So it’s even more important now for the team to prepare in the right way for what is a massive fixture at Rotherham on Boxing Day.”
