Adams: We were poor

Manager Micky Adams admitted that his team were poor “individually and collectively” after the team lost at home to Bradford City in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

I’m disappointed we’ve gone out and we’ve done so in a fashion that doesn’t please me…

Following the 2-0 defeat Adams said: “We were poor individually and collectively.

“I’m disappointed we’ve gone out and we’ve done so in a fashion that doesn’t please me.

“I’m offering no excuses, but I’m just thankful it wasn’t a league game. I don’t want to take anything away from Bradford.

“They were excellent and certainly better than us.

“Both teams made changes, but the players who came into their side looked like they wanted it more than the ones who came into mine.”
