Vincent: There’s more to come
In-form winger Ashley Vincent has told the Sentinel that there’s “more to come” as he reflects on a highly successful start to his Vale career.
There’s more to come from me as a player and there are definitely more goals in me
Vincent and fellow flank player Jennison Myrie-Williams have both scored five goals apiece in the opening months of the season and Vincent says that a number of things have contributed to his flying start.
“I’m fitter than I’ve ever been thanks to the gaffer’s pre-season work and we’re playing attacking football every week – I’ve never been in a team that has done that before. It helps that we’re playing two wingers, which means I’m not the only one everyone relies on,” he told the newspaper
“And I’m also getting on to the end of some of the things that Jeno (Jennison Myrie-Williams) creates. So it’s an accumulation of things that’s helping me find the net more regularly.”
