Vale face Forest Green Rovers in FA Cup
Port Vale will travel to Nailsworth in the West County for the first round of the FA Cup after Forest Green Rovers defeated Dartford in a qualifying round replay.
Forest Green won the replay 4-1 and will now face Micky Adams’ side on Saturday 4th November.
It will be the first time that Vale will have travelled to the The New Lawn stadium for a competitive fixture.
The West Country side are currently fifth in the Blue Square Premier division.

For those non drivers exiled in Manchester. Rail Easy internet booking seems to be cheapest option for senior railcard holders like myself there are several trains leaving Piccadilly with one change @£ 32.0-ish with return trains from 1845 hours taxi or bus from Slough station to Forest Green stadium. Best if travel by taxi to book your return . Quite an isolated place .Bring your own Wrights Pies. Bill.
