Bradford City 0-1 Port Vale
Bradford City 0-1 Port Vale: The Valiants ended Bradford’s unbeaten home record after Tom Pope’s first-half strike earned them a 1-0 away win at the Coral Windows Stadium.
Port Vale manager Micky Adams made two changes with Rob Taylor and Ryan Burge replacing Sam Morsy and Chris Shuker. It meant Burge made his long awaited full Football League debut for the club more than a year after first joining the club.
Prolific Port Vale striker Tom Pope scored the winner after 37 minutes – his ninth goal of the season – after he intercepted a Bradford backpass.
Bradford piled on the pressure trying to find an equaliser but found goalkeeper Chris Neal in great form in the Vale goal as the Valiants held on to record an excellent away win.
