Vale's final friendly ends in a draw
Port Vale ended their summer friendly campaign with a draw against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
Vale went ahead in the first-half through a Tom Pope shot which went in off Ian Goodison.
The visitors, who included former Vale loanee Abdulai Bell-Baggie in their ranks, equalised in the second-half through substitute Cole Stockton.
The result means that Vale finished their summer campaign with a solitary defeat (to Coventry), a draw and nine wins.
