Tomlinson turns down Vale contract
Stuart Tomlinson has turned down Port Vale’s contract offer and Micky Adams will now start searching for a new first-choice goalkeeper.
“We offered Stuart a decent contract and he didn’t sign it,” the Vale manager told the Sentinel.
“It’s disappointing, but that’s his prerogative.
“That offer is no longer on the table, so we are now looking for a new goalkeeper.”
Vale do have youngster Sam Johnson (pictured right) on their books but it is likely that Micky Adams will look for a more experienced face as his first-choice.
It is unclear whether Tomlinson, who also has a modelling career will stay in the game or not.
