Assistant manager Mark Grew has told the Sentinel that manager Micky Adams has some “exciting players” lined up as soon as Keith Ryder’s takeover is approved.
Grew told the newspaper: It’s a difficult situation, but all we can do is ask supporters to sit tight and wait,” he said.
“There is plenty of activity going on behind the scenes and a lot of things have been put in place already.
“Fans should not be too despondent. The gaffer has some exciting players lined up.
“There have been a lot of phone calls to players and agents, and I would say we are now in a position to move quickly once Mr Ryder takes over and we come out of administration,” he said.
“The gaffer is on holiday at the moment, but the work never stops.
“The recruitment process has been made more difficult by the circumstances, and yes, it has been awkward at times. But you just have to get on with it.”
