Haldane’s road to recovery moves a step closer
Winger Lewis Haldane has resumed full training as he steps up his recovery from a horrific leg fracture.
However, according to the Sentinel, manager Micky Adams has ruled out the chances of the winger making his comeback before the end of the campaign.
Haldane, who has made 49 league starts for the Valiants was injured during his first start of this season. The 27 year-old fell awkwardly during the Johnstones Paint clash with Tranmere and suffered a “double leg break.”
Last summer he missed the first three months of the season when he had a bad reaction to an insect bite during pre-season training.
Haldane is one of a number of Vale players out of contract in the summer.
