Peter Miller resigns from Port Vale board
Local media BBC Radio Stoke and the Sentinel newspaper are reporting that former Chairman Peter Miller has resigned from the Port Vale board.
Miller has been a hugely unpopular figure at Vale Park since he secured his directorship on nil-paid shares and promises of investment from Blue Sky.
His departure, if true, will be a massive blow for the board as it leaves them short of the four directors needed to be able to function and coming ahead of the proposed departures of Glenn Oliver and Perry Deakin at the AGM, it leaves interim-chairman Mike Lloyd as the only member of the board to remain in place – for now.
