Adams walks out of press conference
The Sentinel reports that Port Vale manager Micky Adams left Tuesday night’s post-match press conference after just ninety seconds.
Adams was reportedly frustrated by questions querying whether his side deserved the win and the game’s entertainment value.
When asked if a draw would have been a fair result, Adams responded: “You’ve obviously been watching a different game to me.
“We had five chances in the first half, including John McCombe hitting the side-netting with a shot, their keeper made a great save from Chris Shuker and Louis Dodds had a shot cleared of the line.
“I don’t understand your rationale behind that, but we’re all entitled to our opinions.”
