Goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson has vowed to regain his form after what he admits is a “below par” first half of the season.
Tomlinson told the Sentinel: “I’ve been a bit disappointed with my form because I’ve probably been a bit below par.
“Goalkeepers and defenders are judged on how many clean sheets they deliver, so I’m feeling half-decent because I’ve come back into the team and we’ve kept two.
“But if you look at our record over the season, it’s not what you’d want.
“I’ve not had absolute stinkers, I just think more things went for me last season when I was doing better up to this point.
“But we’ve got 18 games left and with some good performances we might end the season on a high.
“We’re only just into the second half of the season, so if we finish the campaign strongly it will help with our play-off push.”
