Chairman Bill Bratt has been on local radio attacking “lies” posted on the Internet. Rob Fielding defends OVF’s honour…
Chairman Bill Bratt has been on local radio attacking “lies” posted on the Internet. We presume by this statement, he was referring to the onevalefan forum.
It was no surprise that there would be yet another attack on this website from the board. This Vale fan is merely surprised the attack did not come earlier. Perhaps the board were waiting until now, a few days before the EGM to launch their attacks on this website’s integrity.
Will the chairman’s attack hurt OVF?
Not in the slightest. I believe OVF is helping the vast majority of fans with a news coverage markedly different from the local media. OVF’s forum topics merely reflect the opinions of the high numbers of Vale fans who visit it. These are the same conversations that happen on the terraces, in the pubs and in the factories around Stoke-on-Trent.
Will the chairman’s attack backfire on him?
It’s not a great idea to disenfranchise over 7,000 registered forum users just days before a crucial EGM.
Is Bratt’s attack justified?
