Marshall rejoins Vale – claims
Port Vale sign Paul Marshall: Midfielder Paul Marshall has reportedly joined the Valiants for a second spell, three years after he spent a spell on loan at Vale Park.
Free agent Marshall claimed via his Twitter feed that he has joined Port Vale until the end of the season and that he is set to be named in the squad for Vale’s match against Bradford City.
The 22 year-old had drifted into non-league circles after starting his career at Manchester City. Marshall was a product of the Manchester City youth academy, joining the club aged 11.
The six foot tall midfielder had a spell at Blackpool before joined Port Vale on loan in 2009 and making thirteen appearances, scoring once.
He then had a loan spell at Aberdeen before joining Walsall on a free transfer in 2010. His most recent Football League experience was a brief spell with Rochdale in 2011.
We’d like to welcome Paul back to Vale Park and wish him all the best in his second spell with the club.
