More bad news for luckless Hector Sam
The Valiants have confirmed that luckless striker Hector Sam will be out of action for at longer than expected after he suffered a broken leg.
The Trinidad and Tobago International was stretchered off during Vale’s Carling Cup defeat to Rotherham United in midweek.
Sam was initially expected to be out of action for two months but due to the severity of the injury, that has now been upped to three to four months out.
Chris Cornes has been brought into the club to cover for Sam and Martin Foyle is trying to add a few more faces before the transfer window closes.
