Martin Foyle has further boosted his squad after signing former Aston Villa striker Michael Husbands on an initial one month trial basis.
The 21 year-old forward has been plagued by injuries but the player thinks he is now fully recovered and aiming to impress while at the club.
The former Southend, Walsall and Bristol Rovers man is a big admirer of the Vale boss telling the official Port Vale website:
“I know Martin Foyle is a top manager and I have heard how good the training is here. I have heard a lot about him and he was a striker, just like me and I know I can learn from him.
“That’s the main reason I chose to come here, because my agent knows Martin and what type of player he was and what type of manager he is and I know I will enjoy it here.”||
