Birchall dazzles in warm-up game
Vale winger Chris Birchall impressed in his second appearance for the Trinidad and Tobago side – Birchall started and starred in a 4-0 International friendly win over Bermuda and according to local sources, he is a definite to start in June 4th’s World Cup qualifier
Birchall played the whole 90 minutes and played his part in the creation of two of the goals with some strong running and neat interchanges.
Trinidad will play Bermuda again on Friday in a double-header friendly that will help decide the starting line-up for the World Cup qualifying match against Panama.
Three goals in a 20-minute span of the second half sealed the match with Kenwayne Jones, Dennis Lawrence and Stern John scoring along with an own-goal from Bermuda star Kentoine Jones.
Birchall has now reportedly impressed after starting in two friendly games and according to all reports will win his first full cap on the 4th June.
