Foyle Snaps Up Sonner
Martin Foyle has added a new face to his squad after agreeing to vastly experienced midfielder Danny Sonner joining the club on a month’s loan from Peterborough United.
33 year-old Sonner said: “I can give Vale a bit of experience and I can still get around the pitch. I can still play a bit.”

The vastly experienced Northern Ireland International midfielder has signed on a month’s loan from Peterborough United. He started his career at hometown club Wigan Athletic before high profile moves to Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest. A neat passer of the ball, the hard working midfield battler has been in and out of the Posh side this season, although he has appeared for Northern Ireland this season – starting the 0-0 draw with Switzerland to earn his seventh cap.
