Ryan Brown Back to Challenge
Youngster Ryan Brown is confident of a return to full fitness after recovering from a horrific facial injury sustained against QPR.
Brown suffered sixteen fractures in a head injury at Loftus Road in March. After three operations, the youngster is confident that he can now resume his battle to get into the Vale first team.
Brown would face competition from Craig James for the left-back slot, but he may be eyeing another position in the team, following the departure of Adrian Littlejohn.
Brown told the Staffordshire Sentinel:
“Craig has the edge because he is older and more experienced, but I feel I can learn from him and having Craig around will make me try harder.
“My natural position is on the left wing, so I have more than one string to my bow, which can be handy in a small squad.”
