Lipa fined for racist incident
Port Vale’s veteran midfielder Andreas Lipa has been fined a week’s wages and apologised to Plymouth midfielder Jason Bent over a racist comment.
His week’s wages which will be donated to the anti-racism Kick it Out charity as well as Argyle Against Racism campaign.

Port Vale have apologised to Plymouth Argyle for the incident in which Jason Bent was subjected to a racist comment by Andreas Lipa.
Andreas himself has written to Jason expressing his profound regret for the comment he made during Saturday’s match, said in the heat of the moment and regretted immediately afterwards.
Andreas has said to the club that he wished he could turn the clock back as he is in no way racist and totally supports the major drive within football to drive out racial abuse.
